Quadruplo album, contenuto in un box di cartone rigido (con moderati segni di invecchiamento), con parti metallizzate sul fronte, con libretto formato cd all' interno, l' originale ed unica stampa vinilica, pressata in Germania anche per l' Inghilterra, etichette custom da un lato e nere con scritte rosse e bianche dall' altro, con marchio Gema/Biem, catalogo 7559-60940-1. Pubblicato nel settembre del 1990, si tratta di un interessantissimo cofanetto celebrativo pubblicato dalla Elektra in occasione del suo quarantesimo anniversario; prodotto da Lenny Kaye (che gia' per la Elektra aveva prodotto nel 1972 la storica raccolta "Nuggetts", vede celeberrimi artisti contemporanei cimentarsi in rifacimenti di brani usciti per la Elektra nei 40 anni di storia della fondamentale label americana.
