Pubblicata dalla Crown nel 1962, questa compilation e' una efficace introduzione al blues elettrico afroamericano degli anni '50 e '60, attraverso dieci classici brani del genere, ad opera di protagonisti assoluti quali John Lee Hooker, BB King, Etta James, Bobby Blue Bland e Jimmy Witherspoon.
