EDIZIONE LIMITATA, REALIZZATA IN OCCASIONE DEL BLACK FRIDAY RECORD STORE DAY DEL NOVEMBRE 2021, copertina sagomata con apertura sul fronte e sul retro in corrispondenza dell' etichetta, adesivo che celebra i 60 anni dell' etichetta Impulse!, etichetta custom; pubblicato nel novembre del 2021, in occasione del Black Friday Record Store Day, questo 12" contiene due brani, "Myth Science" e la lunghissima "Rites of Passage" (di oltre 11 minuti), entrambe outtakes del celebrato "Black To The Future", quarto album del gruppo, uscito nel maggio 2021. I Sons Of Kemet sono un gruppo di jazz avanguardista ed aperto a molteplici contaminazioni stilistiche, formato nel 2011 a Londra dal sassofonista britannico originario delle Barbados Shabaka Hutchings, e nel quale militano o hanno militato alcuni brillanti strumentisti della scena musicale di Albione come il batterista Seb Rochford (Polar Bear, Acoustic Ladyland, Basquiat Strings) ed il suonatore di tuba Theon Cross (Brass Mask). La loro musica è un vitale intreccio di jazz d'avanguardia, influenze del jazz bandistico di New Orleans, elementi caraibici ed africani, hip hop e afrobeat; debuttano su album nel 2013 con ''Burn'', seguito nel 2015 da ''Lest we forget what we came here for'' e nel 2018 da ''Your queen is a reptile''.
