Ep in formato 12", ristampa del 2021, limitata in 500 copie, in picture disc, pressoche' identica alla prima rara tiratura che era stata pressanta nel 1986 dalla stessa etichetta proprio in picture disc, copertina sagomata "die-cut" sul fronte, con adesivo di presentazione sulla busta esterna plastificata. Contiene quattro brani, inediti su album, composti fra il 1983 ed il 1985 e registrati nel 1986, a base di decadente e sulfureo metal, dalle tinte esoteriche e dalle atmosfere molto cupe: ''Highway to hell'', ''Never cry'', "The evil the sorrow'', ''Way to pain''. Paul Chain Violet Theatre e' un progetto avviato dall'ex Death SS Paul Chain nel corso degli anni '80, basato ancora sull' heavy metal piu' sulfureo ma influenzato dalla magia viola, che si manifesta inizialmente con due ep, ''Detaching from satan'' (1984) e ''Highway to hell'' (1986), a cui faranno seguito due album, ''In the darkness'' (1986) e ''Opera 4th'' (1987).
