Copertina lucida a busta senza codice a barre, label bianca con scritte nere, catalogo OT1203. Pubblicata dalla Old Tramp, questa raccolta presenta diciotto brani di Bo Carter, incisi in varie locazioni fra il 1931 ed il 1940, periodo in cui godette di notevole popolarita'. Un'introduzione all'originale stile di questo bluesman, che nei suoi testi costruiva sovente ardite allegorie sessuali, e che aveva uno stile chitarristico particolare. Bo Carter, vero nome Armenter Chatmon (1893-1964), era fratello di Lonnie e Sam Chatmon, e con essi membri dei Mississippi Sheiks insieme a Walter Vinson. Carter ebbe anche una buona carriera come solista, diventando uno dei bluesmen piu' popolari degli anni '30, con uno stile peculiare e canzoni dai riferimenti sessuali molto espliciti, per quanto spiritosi, per i suoi tempi. Carter fu, fra le altre cose, il primo ad incidere lo standard ''Corrine corrina'', nel 1928.
