Daniel Bejar giunge al tredicesimo lavoro sparpagliando magistralmente ancora le carte con un disco eclettico che vede influenze di pop-wave sofisticato e decadente degli anni 80. Dietro il progetto Destroyer si cela il cantante/chitarrista canadese di Vancouver, Dan Bejar (The New Pornographers). Ha una predilezione per sonorità elettrico acustiche ed orchestrali e uno stile influenzato dal primo Bowie, dal pop romantico di metà anni '80 (Microdisney, Smiths).
